The Bibb County Medical Society Alliance is the organization of physicians’
spouses in the Bibb County area.
The Alliance participates
enthusiastically in many community events and supports many organizations,
including the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Bibb County Mentors’
Project, Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia, Safe House, and the
Dove Center. The Alliance is also very active in legislative matters.
The Alliance meets approximately
nine times per year, typically on the third Tuesday of the month. Programs
range from legislative updates to community outreach events to programs
that recognize members of the family of medicine.
BCMS Alliance members are
involved in state activities through the Medical Association of Georgia
Alliance and in national activities through the American Medical Association
